BTU in the QS Rankings Europe List

The QS World University Rankings, which are announced annually, have been released. In the ranking, which includes a total of 688 universities from Europe and Western Asia, Bursa Technical University was ranked 43rd among the 73 universities from Turkey that made the list.


Published by QS, one of the organizations that determine the world university rankings based on various academic criteria, these rankings are significant as they cover all universities in Europe and Western Asia. Bursa Technical University was placed in the 601+ group in the overall ranking and 53rd among universities in Western Asia. In the list, Oxford University was ranked first, the Zurich Institute of Technology second, and Cambridge University third.


BTU Rector Prof. Dr. Naci Çağlar emphasized the importance of Bursa Technical University being included in the list as a young university, noting its motivational impact on future work. "Universities are dynamic entities that not only produce science but also have the responsibility to transform the ecosystem they are part of. At Bursa Technical University, we work with the awareness of producing social and economic benefits through innovative projects by further improving our research and development opportunities. We believe that Bursa Technical University will continue to make a name for itself internationally with its innovations and contributions, and will climb higher every year. I thank all our academic and administrative staff for their dedicated efforts in this process," he said.
