Rector Çağlar Accepted the Successful Students in the Competition

Bursa Technical University (BTU) Rector Prof. Dr. Naci Çağlar "Young Trade Ambassadors Project" Presentation competition accepted the successful students.


The Young Trade Ambassadors Project, which was put into practice by Young MUSIAD and supported by BTU, came to an end. Some of the more than 1,300 international students who studied at BTU took part in the works within the scope of the project. Two of the international students from BTU, who participated in the presentation competition held within the framework of the Young Trade Ambassadors Project, were deemed worthy of awards.


Young MUSIAD implemented the Young Trade Ambassadors Project with international students from 203 different countries of the world in order to establish new trade bridges of Turkey or to improve the existing ones. Another activity of the project was the presentation competition. In the competition where the international students involved in the project shared their work in the form of a presentation, Rector Çağlar accepted the two international students of BTU who ranked in the competition. At the reception, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Beyhan Bayhan, Prof. Dr. Barış Tamer Tonguç and Head of Foreign Relations Office Alev Cuydur were also present.


Atiqullah Mohammadi from Afghanistan, who was awarded the first prize in the presentation competition held within the scope of the "Young Trade Ambassadors Project", BTU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of International Relations, and Bangladeshi Mahadi Hasan, Master's student of the Graduate Education Institute International Trade and Logistics Department, who came in second in the competition, Rector Çağlar They presented information about the work they carried out within the scope of the project.


Rector Çağlar, who received information from both students about their work, congratulated the young people for their success. He emphasized that he believes that every international student studying at BTU will build and develop trade bridges as well as bridges of heart between Turkey and the hinterland of their own country.


Stating that the country's exports will increase with the project of Genç MÜSİAD, which aims to increase export knowledge and efficiency by creating a bridge between the university and the business world, Çağlar stated that the project participant students will be employed in companies that do foreign trade in Turkey and need foreign trade personnel who speak a foreign language. .


We Raise Students Who Know the World

Rector Çağlar, in accepting the students who received degrees in the Young Trade Ambassadors presentation competition, underlined that he cares about the project and the studies carried out in this context for the future of the students. He said that in addition to being educated in an academic sense, the students develop by knowing the legislation and foreign trade, knowing the world, being aware of what is going on and having knowledge. Rector Çağlar said, “This project is to contribute to our students who want to improve themselves. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the execution of the project.”
